St. Zelie creations: Our New Etsy Store and Valentine's Day...

Updated: Feb 12

I am happy to announce that we have started an Etsy store called St. Zelie creations.

We will be offering various Catholic products, some will be crafts and some digital downloads, as well as other miscellaneous.

Come by and visit!

Right now we are featuring for Lent, our 40 Day Lent challenge calendar. It features a daily spring cleaning chore that it's accompanied by a prayer and intention.

You will be cleaning like Martha while praying like Mary!

My hope is that with this calendar you can clean intentionally your home. No rushed or overwhelmed, simply one task at the time while praying various traditional prayers and devotions for specific intentions during the Lenten season.

We are so sure this resource will enrich you Lenten practice that decided to also offer it in Spanish!

And lastly, we are happy to share an absolutely darling product for Valentine's Day.

Many Catholics are feeling down because Valentine's Day falls on an Ash Wednesday day of fasting and abstinence.

We are not! As a matter of fact, we are taking this saintly royal couple as our inspiration and Example!

St. Elizabeth of Hungary and Blessed King Louis IV ♥️

They had it all! Money, status, and power at their disposal, but they lived austere for the love of God and their neighbors. Therefore, we will do the same! On Ash Wednesday Valentine's Day, we will be joyful and will "perfume our heads" and celebrate in austerity the gift of love by serving one another.

We created a beautiful Valentine' s Day Party pack that includes a banner and a print with the story of this couple and 4 sets of 10 Valentine's cards. Each card portraying a rhyme we composed inspired by their love story!

Remember that when you fast for the love of God and good of your soul, you should be filled with joy, not showing the world the price of your sacrifice. Yet ponder and value the gift of austerity and sincerity of the heart.

Take courage Catholic couples! Celebrate in abundance and scarcity. This Ash Wednesday might be even more special than you think...

We are hopeful you visit and enjoy our Newest project! It is our way to extend our creativity to you and help you enrich your faith with different ideas and resources.

Thank you for all your support!

Liz
